*Position = Sr . Java Developer with RESTLocation = Hartford, CTDuration = 6 + months* *Interview process:* If selected for interview it will be a *Web-EX/coding test. (Will hire off this webex)* The several blurbs on top in red are the recent feedback from last few interviews, and these are all the same group so should show you a pattern of what they are asking for The team is working in a *Agile/Scrum methodology*. really struggled on the *coding/testing examples. *Lacked understanding of* REST architectural* style fundamentals struggled to solve basic *programming problems* *lacked basic understanding of testing code and making code testable* 1. Did not have an understanding of* REST* 2. Couldn’t explain *SOAP vs REST *3. Could not write *unit test cases*4. Sample coding *needed a lot of guidance* *FYI -* some observations I picked up on was that some candidates put Groovy and MySQL on the resume but when asked about it they said they didn’t know it.
