Job Role : *Teradata consultant* Location : *Seattle, WA* Duration : 3-6 months Extension : Yes *Job Description:* • Strong expertise on Teradata • Strong expertise on all Teradata utilities - TPUMP, MLOAD, BTEQ, FASTLOAD, FAST EXPORT. • Strong expertise on Teradata Parallel Transporter. • Strong in data modeling (Normalization, Star Schema). Teradata data modeler. • Strong in data architecture (Data Warehousing, ODS, Data Marts, Staging) • Good hands-on experience on performance tuning and space reclamation. • Working knowledge as a Teradata application architect. • Design, creating and physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support normalized and dimensional models. Maintain the referential integrity of the Database. • Strong Data Analysis and Architect skills • Knowledge of unix shell scripts, JCL and other scripting languages • Knowledge on BI and DW interface *Nice to have:* • Good knowledge on ETL and one or more of the ETL tools. • Knowledge is Wherscape Red is good to have. • Knowledge on service oriented architecture concepts. • Teradata administration and use of admin tools.
