Greeting’s This is Prasad from Softtrans Inc., We have an urgent position open for *Sr. Business Analyst with QA Background* position at *NJ*.** Reply to pras...@softtrans.net or prasadg.softtr...@gmail.com** *Title: Sr. Business Analyst with QA Background* *Location: Jersey City, NJ* *Duration: 6+Months* **Manager would like to see Business Analysts with a QA background** - Quality Assurance tester responsible for test planning, day-to-day execution of test cases, and cross organization testing. - Requires a solid understanding of the testing process for one or more applications. - Capable of working independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication skills- verbal and written - are required. - At least five years of successful commercial software testing experience. - Web applications, GUI, client server, UAT using mercury and quality center. - Be able to write test scripts, understand testing process and business. - *Experience with Money Transfer or Foreign exchange business and application is a plus* - Strong experience with manual and automated testing, testing tools, writing test plans, and reviewing test cases - Test Case Setup and Execution - Defect/issue reporting and triage - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications - Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills - Must have working experience with Mercury Test Suites products - Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, and interact daily with all levels of staff, including system developers, business analysts and other QA team. - *Working experience of SWIFT and XML standard messages * - Strong knowledge of testing on Windows and UNIX platforms - Candidate must demonstrate good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts. *Primary Job Functions* . Ability to research problems independently . Task prioritization within project and execution of tasks with minimal supervision . Status reporting . Maintain Monthly Test Time Statistics .
