The FileNet P8 system hosts and/or integrates with 38 applications used by more than 1,000 internal users as part of their day-to-day operations. OSC is upgrading its current FileNet P8 system from version 4.5.1 to 5.2.1. In addition to ensuring support from IBM, upgrading FileNet will afford OSC the opportunity to take advantage of new, more scalable and secure technology. Upgrading this system will be a substantial undertaking. Scope of Services The Contractor will supply one FileNet P8 Specialist for staff augmentation. The Consultant will assist with building OSC’s FileNet 5.2.1 P8 Content Management System. Specifically, the consultant will assist OSC to: Install and configure FileNet components, including: IBM WebSphere Application Server v 8.5.x, IBM FileNet Content Platform Engine (CPE), IBM FileNet Application Engine (AE), IBM FileNet Deployment Manager; Configure and implement Single Sign On (SSO) ; Build and implement multiple Java Virtual Machines (JVMs) on the AE’s to host custom business applications; Assist with upgrading FileNet workflows and integrating Java components with the FileNet P8 custom component integrator; Deploy applications to the FileNet AE and CPE; Integrate custom Java applications (end user, bulk loaders); Assist with the integration of FileNet Capture 5.2 applications; Assist with the integration of IBM DataCap 8.x applications; Load Data; Assist with implementation of IBM ECM System Monitor; Assist with architecting and planning implementation of IBM Content Navigator; Assist with architecting and planning implementation of IBM Content Search Services; Provide support to developers and users; Document technical specifications, procedures, and solutions; Research and prototype solutions to meet business needs; and Mentor OSC staff for all of the above, and provide knowledge transfer. Minimum Qualifications The consultant must possess the following minimum qualifications. A minimum of 36 months experience with: architecting and building clustered FileNet P8 systems; v 4.5.x or newer; running on IBM WebSphere Application Server; hosted on AIX; installing, configuring, and administering IBM WebSphere Application Server; implementing Single Sign On for a FileNet P8 system; and implementing and deploying applications to multiple JVMs on AE’s, in a clustered environment. A minimum of 12 months experience with: architecting, building, implementing IBM FileNet P8 systems, v 5.2.x; running on IBM WebSphere Application Server; hosted on AIX; architecting, building, and integrating DataCap 8.x with FileNet P8; architecting, building, and implementing IBM Content Navigator; and architecting, building, and implementing IBM Content Search Services.
