   - 4-6 years server management experience in a large IT environment.
   - Experience and understanding of various server and storage
   technologies (Unix, Windows, Citrix, VMWARE, etc.)
   - Experience and understanding of Active Directory and Windows Server
   environments.
   - Knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 and Active Directory.
   - Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
   - Knowledge of Hardware, Software and various HW Raid configurations (HP
   server hardware and management tools – C-Class Blades, DL series, Insight
   Manager, Rapid Deploy, etc.).
   - Knowledge of DNS, MX records, certificates.
   - Understanding of MS Certificate Services
   - Experience with MS Clustering Services (2003 and 2008)
   - Experience creating simple to complex scripted solutions for various
   tasks (Powershell, VMScripting, etc.)
   -  Provide on-going training and technical direction to other team
   members pertaining to system optimization, installation, upgrades,
   configuration, and troubleshooting.
   - Interact with vendors in the resolution of complex problems.
   - Effectively communicate with customers, help desk support personnel

   - Present new technology and High level resolutions to management
   - Participate in the evaluation of new technology solutions. Evaluate
   equipment for performance and interoperability.
   - Capable of diagramming with Visio.
   -  Facilitate training sessions for peers on new technology solutions,

   administration tools.
   -  Evaluate tools and management systems and provide management with

      firmware

      - Configure and manage appropriate hardware monitoring solutions

      - Develop and use methodology and guidelines for sizing systems
      - Continuously improve methodology and guidelines
      - Leverage standard provisioning procedures
      - Create and maintain standard build procedures and scripted
      installations

platforms.

·         Responsible for supporting Microsoft Directory Services, server
hardware architecture and high availability (server and application)
design,

·         Ability to integrate monitoring and configuration services as
appropriate, self-teaching advance skills as required (SCCM and SCOM).

·         As needed, contribute to the design, implementation and
maintenance of:

o   Unix and Wintel Servers

o   Enterprise active directory (Windows), DHCP, DNS (external and
internal), Certificate Services, FTP Services, MOSS, and various other MS
software solutions.

·         Participate in the assessment and optimization of the server
systems, through systems monitoring, statistics, and daily health checks.
Work with management to ensure accurate reporting KPIs and trends for all
facets of the environment.

·         Working with management, coordinates service calls and schedules
appointments with software vendor and consultants to ensure satisfactory
resolution of problems and malfunctions.

·         Maintains accurate and comprehensive documentation diagrams of
the enterprise server infrastructure and communications flow and routing.

·         Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools and technologies for
server administration.

·         Identify storage and server trends and abnormalities and
proactively take steps to prevent performance impacts to network traffic
and business function.

·         Perform pro-active support functions and reporting to maintain
the integrity of the enterprise equipment and infrastructure.

·         Support and contribute in developing and maintaining 3 year
strategic plan, to mitigate risks, address organizational deficiencies, and
facilitate new requirements, technologies and growth.

·         Analyze, determine, and document technical requirements.

·         Communicate accurate and useful status reports to management on a
timely basis.

·         Anticipate issues and proactively resolve them.

·         Prepare contingencies, scenarios, scenario plans and action items
to resolve issues.

·         Identify and initiate continuous improvements.

·         Instill commitment to quality, customer service, ownership, and
teamwork.

·         Build strong customer relationships. Promote internal/external
customer service among organization.

·         Maintain awareness of new technological developments in industry
and processes - implement concepts appropriately.
