The contractor will utilize software analytic and programming expertise to advance Natural Language Processing (NLP). The project work will include the following deliverables: - Evaluate the prior NLP market research to verify and changes to open source software solution - Recommend and develop a data storage repository working with Office of Systems resources in ODS and OESAE - Build a functional prototype to extract clinical concepts from textual content from Health IT documents - Use prior NLP research and utilize open source software to build a NLP solution for SSA. - Recommend a corpus of Health IT documents for the training and development\test set - Annotate the training document set - Train and tune the NLP system based on the corpus - Execute the extracted clinical concepts against the disability impairment business rules - Produce NLP analysis report to: 1. Produce an analysis report on the requirements to configure the system and maintain the corpus 2. Report on clinical concepts extracted from textual Health IT content 3.
