Position :SR DATA MODELER Location :Stamford CT Duration :6 months contract Skills and Experience Required : The primary responsibility for the implementation and ongoing use of Power Designer including standards, repository structure, release management, administration. SAP power designer and or Sybase power designer looking for someone who knows the in and outs of power designer to configure, set it up properly, etc The Senior Data Modeler will be responsible for the ownership and definition of Enterprise Warehouse logical and physical models, ensuring standardization and enforcing the strategic vision set by the Enterprise and Data Architects through data models. They will support developers of various different disciplines including ETL, Programmers, SQL Server and Microsoft BI by performing data analysis and complex data model design. They will own the primary responsibility for the implementation and ongoing use of Power Designer including standards, repository structure, release management, administration. Data Modeling Architect \ Specialist Specific responsibilities: Subject matter expert in SAP Power Designer Standards and Administration. Planning the SAP Power Designer environment including standards, administration, license management, repository configuration and structure, release management, security, model templates and libraries and applicable workflows Collaborate with business owners and technical architects to design logical data models that both serve the application function and conform to common design patterns across all strategic projects. Support ETL, SQL Server, MS-BI architects during the design and development of their solutions Develop and maintain the enterprise data dictionary ensuring a common vocabulary across the warehouse and reporting landscape. Take ownership of the definition and documentation of data modeling standards both logical and physical. Support periodic maintenance releases by the support organization. Ensure data models in the repository are in sync with the respective database environments Develop and maintain documentation of standards, process and workflows involved in managing and utilizing the SAP Power Designer tool set. Experience/Education Skills: Required: 5+ years of experience designing and developing data models 2+ years of experience working with SAP Power Designer as a data modeling tool.
