*Description:*
The intent is for this contract to go for 9 months. A new purchase order
will be created for time after December 31st.
*Project Background:*
The Agency is looking to build an online timesheet application. We have
acquired the timesheet application from the and we are attempting to
utilize this application and convert it for our use. The application
utilizes a backend Oracle database and the following technologies (WCF,
MVC, XML, SOA). The candidates selected for this project must have these
skills along with SQL Server 2008, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and C# (must have
experience in BOTH vb.net & C#).
Agency developers have strong experience in SQL, VB & ASP but lack skills
in WCF, MVC and Oracle. The candidates selected will work with Agency
Developers on this project and train staff developers on the use of WCF,
MVC and Oracle.
Selected candidates can expect to:
1. reverse engineering code and modifying code to fit our
enterprise environment
2. as the project matures, extend the code to fit our business
needs
3. train and mentor the staff
