*Position: Scrum MasterLocation: Mason, OHDuration: 3-6+ Months* *US Citizens or Green Card Holders only Rate : $50/Hr. RESPONSIBILITIES:*• Active Scrum master for 1-2 scrum teams with a focus on guiding the teams towards improving the way they work. • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospective and sprint demos • Assist the product owner with keeping the backlog groomed • Ensure cross-team coordination • Reach out to the larger company network for impediment removal • Maintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doing • Coach and mentor other scrum masters in our product team. Ensure that our ways of working are consistent across the teams. • Liaise between the developers and User Experience/Visual Designers. Foster better communication between the disciplines. • Act as a project manager when necessary. Take responsibility for managing dependencies between our team and third parties or between our team and other scrum teams. • The position will support many project teams and be able to clearly communicate project objectives and report on project progress at all levels of the business. Works on programs of moderate to broad scope involving multiple teams where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Limited direction required. Sound knowledge of enterprise application integration techniques and design patterns. Collaborates with senior leadership to ensure IT strategic investment aligns with business strategy and drives operating results. *Technical Skills:* 1. Understand basic fundamentals of iterative development 2. Understand other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise 3. Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures 4. Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team 5. Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics 6. Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition 7. Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices *Qualifications:*1. Knowledge of the software development life cycle 2. Certified scrum master/scrum practitioner - Multiple years' experience working with an agile methodology during a large scale, complex new development project for a large enterprise 3. Must be a Certified Scrum Master with 5+ years project management and Scrum Master experience 4. Knowledge and/or experience of Kanban 5. Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form 6. Excellent team player and team builder 7. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a very dynamic and timeline sensitive work environment 8. Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience 9.
