Please respond back to avish...@allianceit.com or call me on (925) 973-0000 Ext 216. *Note : Must Be Local To IL Only...!!!!!!!* *Job Title: BI Tool (Qlikview/Tableau) Developer* *Location : Chicago, IL* *Duration : 6+ Month Contract* *Must-haves: * Great communication! 5-7+ years of experience as a BI Developer 2+ years of experience as a Qlikview Developer Java Development experience Experience designing reports (at least 1 GB in size and working with over 1 million rows) Strong SQL Server experience *Plusses:* Experience developing in Tableau *Day to Day Responsibilities:* Design and code medium- to high-complexity reports Collaborate with others to identify reporting requirements, design features and specification Convert user stories to report design Design and implement security and distribution architecture for reports Import data into the Data Warehouse from source systems using ETL Debug reporting problems and issues in Qlikview/Tableau and Java code Provide support to ensure optimal performance of reports and dashboards Support all facets of data modeling and data management activities Maintain the data dictionary and drive adherence Create all types of reports and insightful data displays Identify and escalate issues that put work at risk of delay and propose suitable alternatives Our client is looking for a couple BI Developers to assist in a large Initiative. This project will be to create 3 main workstreams: insight, dashboards, and cell service exploration. Insight will alert users about news for specific clients such as revenue reports, sales reports, etc. Dashboards will be an access point for data and a way for the users to find more detailed items. Cell service exploration will allow the users to interact with the news (insight) and data mine to chase a story.
