JOB DESCRIPTION / SPECIFICATION

   - Primary responsibility for the Global Payroll BA is *to lead and
   deliver complex projects from an HRIS perspective*, specifically a
   Global deployment of the Global Payroll solution. This solution consists of
   a custom interface being created that connects with the Global View ADP
   system from the PeopleSoft application.  Included in these responsibilities
   is the exercise of leading the status and reporting on all phases of the
   project lifecycle (including handling multiple projects at one time) as
   well as ensuring deadlines are met and issues are solved (and escalated
   when appropriate) in an efficient time frame. Also, the Project Lead is to
   serve as the Global Subject Matter Expert for the HRIS systems from a
   business process, configuration, and functionality perspective. Included in
   this responsibility is project management, delivery, testing, training, and
   end user support. Specific application support will be on the PeopleSoft
   9.0 HCM suite.

 *Functions:*

   - Lead and manage the activities and services provided by IS to ensure
   effective and full utilization of information technology (including
   business process change) to meet the business strategy and cost objective.
   - Plan and Lead major HRIS projects approved by upper management.
   - Ensure deadlines are met and critical issues are raised in a timely
   manner.
   - Lead and status all phases of the projects including project
   initiation, planning, execution, and control & closure.
   - Testing of new functionality/components including the creation of test
   scripts through system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
   - Deliver quality solutions on time and within budget.
   - Develop and maintain documentation for assigned applications.
   - Perform other functions as assigned.
   - Responsible for Project Management for the region to include project
   plan oversight, consolidation from other country leads.
   - PeopleSoft analysis/configuration around the HRIS team configuration
   items
   - Mass changes to the system (configuration or data)
      1. Analysis
      2. Coordination with end user
      3. Validation
   - Testing (from a PeopleSoft perspective)


   - Creation of test scripts (with guidance from ADP)
      - Test scenario setup
      - Execution of testing
      - Coordination of UAT sign-off
      - Regression testing


   - Analysis/Coordination of:


   - New/Changes to PeopleSoft objects/functionality
      - PeopleSoft Mappings
      - Configuration between Hrlink/Global Payroll


   - Coordination of HRIS tasks for each Global Payroll deployment (go-live
   checklist)
   - PeopleSoft Project Management


   - Create project plans for HRIS tasks to include milestones from other
      project plans
      - Status on HRIS tasks


   - Identify risks and mitigation plans

Desired Skills and Experience

*Education & Work Experience:*

   - BS/BA required, preferably in HR Management, Business Administration,
   or MIS/Computer Science preferred
   - Ten plus years HRMS experience
   - 3 – 4 years of experience working with PeopleSoft HCM  8.9  or later
   version
   - A strong understanding of how to configure HR core PeopleSoft tables
   is required
   - Work on all project phases including fit/gap, configuration, and
   testing
   - Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills
   - Assist deployment lead with testing of new functionality/components
   including the creation of test scripts through system, regression, and user
   acceptance testing
   - Ability to work individually under conditions of varying uncertainty
   as well as part of a team
   - Project Management skills are required
   - Advanced analytical skills are required to evaluate effectiveness of
   processes, analyze impacts and make recommendations
   - Experience with MS Project, Office
   - Experience with ADP Payroll preferred
   - Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
   - Experience and Ability to communicate effectively with between
   technical and business
   - Excellent presentation and leadership skills
   - Strong interpersonal communication skills and problem solving skills
   - High level of customer service focus
