The Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Principal MIS Analyst will work with
EDM Partnership leaders, line of business subject matter experts and data
stewards to actively support the tactical execution of the Data Management
Program (DMaP) and the adoption of good data management practices within
each line of business.  The successful candidate will possess functional
business knowledge of at least one Client line of business and will be
responsible for serving as a subject matter expert in the data usages of
that line of business on the EDM Partnership team. The EDM MIS Analyst will
work alongside EDM and business peers to analyze and research business data
usages to ensure that the first line is integrating data management
processes and policies throughout the lifecycle of their data.  This job
offers the EDM MIS Analyst the opportunity to interact with teams across
EDM and the broader organization to build relationships evangelizing the
adoption of good data management practices across all data platforms,
technologies and usages



Position Highlights:

- Supporting EDM interactions with line of business partners to ensure that
data management policies, standards and procedures are embedded as
“business as usual”

- Actively support the adoption of Data Quality best practices through:

- Participating in the development of second line testing processes,
metrics and reporting strategy

- Gathering and validating data quality rules from data owners and stewards

- Documenting processes and data flows that effect data quality

- Supporting profiling, scorecard reporting and root cause analysis

- Recommending solutions to data quality issues and second line findings

- Support the LOBs efforts to identify high priority data usages and
elements within their processes, models, reports and data stores

- Evangelize the regulatory and business impact of poor quality data

- Participate in LOB Partnership meetings, requirements sessions and
working sessions as required

- Interact with SMEs across lines of business and technology to actively
explore and understand business data usages

- Actively partner with EDM peers, Data Stewards and Analysts to
continuously enhance and improve Client's creation, maintenance and quality
of data



Responsibilities may include:

- Define and execute processes to monitor data governance policies and
procedures to ensure data integrity and privacy, establish consistent data
definitions, and monitor overall data quality for assigned data entities

- Work with various line of business data stewards to ensure that data
management methodologies include the steps, activities and deliverables
required to consistently achieve high data quality

- Work closely with business data owners and users to identify quality
metrics and thresholds

- Own and publish reports related to quality metrics along with root cause
analysis and mitigation options to the end user community

- Collaboratively work with TECH partners to ensure data stores and
applications adhere to defined data management practices, policies, and
procedures

- Support line of business project delivery teams in their effort to adopt
and execute on data management processes

- Partner with data stewards to assist in the identification and resolution
management of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy,
consistency, and completeness in a cost-effective and timely fashion

- Identify opportunities and implement solutions to increase team
efficiency



An ideal candidate will have strong communication skills with an excellent
track record of working in and with teams both on-site and virtually.
Being a self-starter and having the ability to deal with ambiguous
situations is also important to success.  Additionally the ideal candidate
will possess the ability to interact seamlessly with both business and
technology partners to drive adoption of EDM principles and policies across
the data enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree

- At least 3 Years of experience in Data Analysis or at least 3 years of
experience in Data Management

- At least 2 year of experience in Programming

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional

- At least 2 Years of experience in Financial Services



Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree

- 1+ years of experience working with Big Data technologies

- 1+ years of experience working with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or 1+
years of experience working with MetaData Hub

- 1+ years of experience working with Collibra

- 4+ Years of experience in Data Analysis or 4+ years of experience in Data
Management

- 4+ Years of experience in Programming

- SAS Certification
