*OBIEE DeveloperCharlotte, NC* *Long Term* *GC/ Citizens * *Job Description : * Our client has an immediate need for an OBIEE Developer to join their team in Charlotte, NC. *Responsibilities:* - Gather technical requirements, design and develop business analytical solutions, testing and implementing of OBIEE (ETL, Reporting, Analytics) requirements. - Data model design and documentation (Facts and Dimensions, Business Users & Security Permissions, Stars with Hierarchies, Business Model Names for Source Columns, Reports and Dashboard Layouts). - Design and develop ER diagrams and map the source data into data warehouse objects. - Develop OBIEE meta-data layer; Configure repository on all the three layers (Physical Layer, Business Logic and Mapping Layer and Presentation Layer); Objects must be accessible to all stakeholders, internal and external. - Analyze existing Configuration and formulate logic for new OBIEE analyses, dashboards and reports. - Analyze, design, develop, modify and test OBIEE Dashboards / Reports with different Analytics Views (Pivot Table, Chart, Tabular and View Selector), Alerts, Guided Navigation, and Dynamic / Interactive Dashboards with drill-down capabilities using global and local Filters. for complex agency information technology systems. - Analyze, design, develop, modify and test objects in Relational database, preferably Teradata. - Follow standards, collaborate with team members adhering to standards and best practices. - Support by fixing incidents and enhance the business solutions that are developed based on the functional and strategic requirements. - Assist in development of complex ad-hoc queries and analyses. - Works in conjunction with data analysts for developing dashboards and other end user solutions. - Develops Technical Design Documents for OBIEE Report and Dashboard requirements. - Configure OBIEE metadata Repository maintenance as needed to support user reporting requests. - Works with Architect(s) to understand design and configure repository metadata and build dashboards & reports. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues / challenges. - Performance tuning of BI Reports. - Design and optimize the physical, logical and presentation layers within the OBIEE Repository. - Develop, configure, customize, and troubleshoot OBIEE Repository objects such as data models, meta data hierarchies, and others. - Migrate OBIEE objects between work environments. - Analyze problems and provide recommendations for OBIEE Repository and Middle Tier configurations. - Prepare detailed documentation for all objects developed. - Prepare transition documents; other duties as assigned. *Requirements:* - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; a combination of work/experience is acceptable. - 4+ years of expert level experience with BI Reports development using Oracle.
