*ETL Developer with financial background*

The ETL Developer II is a position responsible for programming, debugging
and testing of ETL-based internet applications in an *ETL development
environment, and generally responsible for database design and system
testing*. The Mid-Level Developer usually works with minimum supervision,
conferring with their Technical Lead on unusual matters. An ETL Developer II
possesses and applies a broad knowledge of the principles, practices, and
procedures related to data security to the completion of moderately
difficult assignments.

*Responsibilities:*
* Assignments are broad in nature, usually requiring originality and
ingenuity.
* May be assisted by Entry Level personnel and usually reports to or works
with a Senior Level Developer.
* *Reviews ETL mappings, workflows, etc. for compliance to CMS standards.
** *On-call operational support for production systems
** Reviews progress, evaluates results, and recommends changes in
procedures.
* *Performance tuning of ETL transforms and workflows.*
* Provides support for, and automation of, routine Informatica procedures
* Responsible for documentation of standard processes and procedures.
* Tool configuration and maintenance for server and desktop.
* Management and Maintenance of Informatica software releases.
* On-call operational support for production systems.
* *Review of ETL mappings, workflows, etc. for compliance to CMS standards.*
* Performance tuning of ETL transforms and workflows.
* Informatica troubleshooting and problem resolution.
* *Adheres to applicable CMMI policies and procedures, both written and
verbal.
** *Responsible for providing suggestions for improving Maricom's CMMI
standard processes and procedures for area of responsibility.*

Qualifications:
* 5 years of related professional experience in ETL development with
experience using advanced object-oriented design (OOD) tools and software.
** 3+ years experience using Informatica software, including 1+ years
administrative support and 2+ years developing ETL routines.*
** 2+ years experience in administration of Cognos, Microstrategy, Business
Objects, or SAS.*
** 2+ years experience with Unix and Unix shell scripting.*
** Experience with Oracle 9i or higher*
* Experience with troubleshooting the *DB2Connect gateway product for DB2.*
** Experience with troubleshooting Connect Direct for the mainframe.*
** Experience with troubleshooting ODBC problems for Windows 2000 desktop
and server environments.*
* Documentation of standard processes and procedures.
* Experience creating and providing design artifacts for technical reviews
of business intelligence applications and models.
* Demonstrate past experience with other large/government agencies through a
portfolio of experiences and references to those clients.
** Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field is required.
* An Associate's Degree with 2 years of related professional experience or
three (3) years of directly related professional experience may be
substituted for the Bachelor's Degree requirement.*
* Ability to work well as a team player.
* General understanding of data mart development principles and dimensional
modeling.
* *General Database Administrative Skills*
** Excellent oral and written communications skills.
* Skills in Business requirements analysis and documentation*
