Position : Sr.Infrastructure Security Engineer Location: Westport CT Duration : 36-month/3-year contract Responsibilities: 5+ years of experience in the design, implementation, deployment and support of Infrastructure Enterprise Security systems Develop plans to meet emerging data processing risks. Safeguard computer files against, accidental or unauthorized access. Coordinate the implementation of security controls with inside personnel and outside vendors and conduct tests to ensure the functions of data processing activities and security measures are operational. Act decisively, if security problems are identified, to modify the security files or application configurations to incorporate new software, correct errors and change an individual’s access status. Formally evaluate security features of information products and systems and make recommendations on purchases. Complete the evaluation and investigative work regarding potential threats, real time security events. Take full responsibility for handling simulated and actual disaster scenarios. Ensure security awareness training provided to all levels of staff. Proactively disclose and remedy actual or potential breaches and risks to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Corporate Data and Systems. Apply expert knowledge to initiate good security practices and planning. Update and Maintain Information Security Policies and Procedures. Advise other professionals of necessity for security counter-measures.
