TitleL: ETL Informatica Developer Location: West Des Moines, IA Duration: 6 Month C2H NOTE: !! MUST BE EAD,GC & USC - NEED ONLY LOCALS !! Basic Function: As an Informatica developer/architect you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing Informatica ETL components to support our Enterprise Data Warehouse. In this role, you will need to focus on delivering data to our customers in a timely fashion and establishing a positive rapport between IT and our business partners. The ability to help set priorities that are in line with business goals while keeping in mind system maintenance. You will need the ability to interact with the business users to understand the application requirements and also work with other IT areas like the DBA’s and the Linux server teams. To be successful you will also need to keep abreast of current technologies and assist the business with process improvements. Qualifications: As an ideal candidate, you will have: College degree preferred; or an associate degree in programming from a technical/trade school plus 3-5 years’ experience with ETL and database solution development. Experience with the unit testing of ETL code to ensure it can be delivered to a development and production environment. Three years’ experience in property/casualty insurance (preferred). Knowledge of data handling methods and development techniques required. Specific skills required include: • Informatica • XML • DB2 • SQL • PowerExchange • Linux Scripting • DB2 Command Center Good analytical/conceptual thinking skills, technical systems knowledge, and problem solving skills are required. Must understand the interrelationship between business and technology needs. Excellent oral and written communication skills to relate to all levels, including upper management.
