*Job Title: (Java with WMB) Developer* *Location: Fairfax VA* *Type of hire: 6+ months Contract * *Interview Mode: Telephonic and Skype* *Position Overview*: As a Senior Developer (Java / WMB), and will be instrumental in helping to design, implement, and test enterprise applications / services as Message Flows in the WebSphere SOA Suite including products such as WebSphere Message Broker (WMB), WebSphere Service Registry and Repository (WSRR), and WebSphere Operational Decision Manager (WODM). Working under the guidance of our Senior Developers, Integration Engineers, Architects, and Project Managers, you will be expected to have practical experience on Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), Spring Framework and its ecosystem, WebSphere SOA Suite, Agile Development Methodology, and the capacity to learn new technologies. Technical experience as noted below is preferred: · Experience with one or more of the following IBM WebSphere SOA technologies: WebSphere MQ, WebSphere ESB, WebSphere Message Broker or IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere Service Registry and Repository · Experience with web services, SOAP, REST, XML and XSD’s · Understanding of full software development life cycle, quality control processes, and build and deploy procedures using Agile Development Methodology · Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other developers, architects, and business users · Experience programming in Java/JEE, various open source Apache projects, and Spring Framework · Experience implementing unit test cases using SOAP UI · Database development experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server · Familiar with Heath Level 7 (HL7) Messages, Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), and Clinical Data Architecture (CDA) Job Profile · Assists in developing, testing and implementing Message Flows in WebSphere Message Broker. · Participates in developing, coding and implement unit testcases using SOAP UI · Assists in preparing technical and procedural documentation required in application system development such as Software Design Document · Provides solutions for programming system operations, including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. Core Competencies · Technical Experience: Java, JEE, JMS, Web Services, Spring Framework, SOAP UI, and IBM WebSphere SOA Suite. · Working Experience: Knowledge of VA and DoD Software Technologies and Development Methodology.
