St Louis MO Description Position details: The IdM Engineer will work on a team to help develop, translate, prioritize and support the Identity Management system solutions used by Monsanto. The candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to successfully support the platform’s customers and understand the opportunities, identify and implement system solutions. In addition, the candidate must successfully interact with technical architects, business analysts, testers and support personnel to develop, deploy and support these solutions. The candidate should have experience or education in enterprise-wide systems and the software development lifecycle. Candidates must possess the ability to rapidly learn new problem domains and become conversant in the domain with business users from varied business backgrounds (finance, marketing, sales, operations, etc). Responsibilities: The Engineer must be able to… · Develop/Implement application/solutions to meet business requirements · Own and resolve application/solution issues · Evaluate, support and implement solutions for continued rollout to additional services Requirements/Qualifications: · Understanding of Information Security policies/practices · Experience with an Identity Management platform or Access Governance platform · Hands-on experience working with Active Directory, eDirectory, or any other LDAP · Basic knowledge of SQL databases (understanding of schema, tables, and basic SQL queries) · Knowledge of web service interfaces (SOAP/REST) · Experience using PowerShell for administration of Microsoft platforms OR experience using any scripting language to automate manual processes · Demonstrated ability for root cause analysis, problem solving, and resolution · Strong interpersonal, team, negotiation, communication, and customer service skills Desired skills/education/experience/attributes (ideal candidate): · Experience with support and/or administration of Linux servers & Microsoft Windows servers. · Experience with J2EE Application Server Platforms (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, etc…) · Flexible with regard to working shifts; On-Call & weekends; Overtime. · Ability to learn quickly and apply new technologies.
