*Need .Net Lead/Architect in CA - 6 Months contract!* Position : .Net Lead/Architect Location : San Diego,CA Duration : 6 Months JOB DESCRIPTION: The software architect is responsible to provide technical leadership for both development and test teams. The software architect is responsible for project management and application design and expected to perform other technical tasks, frequently handling the more technically challenging aspects of the system and/or applying their deep technical expertise to solve most challenging technical problems. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Capture initial requirements with details • Understand/Manage project scope and Vision • Plan for work and provide iterations/estimates • Create high level overview/ conceptual design • Create architecture and functional specifications with Developer(s) • Create test plan / Perform unit test • Coordinate testing with users • Provide guidance on coding standards and best practices. • Assign projects and manage workload of development staff • Monitor and manage incident/service request queue QUALIFICATIONS • 5+ years embedded software development experience • 5+ years SDLC experience, 2+ years using agile methodologies • Ability to operate in a broad and diverse set of technologies.
