*Job Title: Linux Admin* *Location : Chicago, IL(LOCAL)* *Duration : 6+ Months with extension* *NOTE: LOCAL ONLY!!!* *Job Description:* The Linux Administrator Consultant provides critical supporting services to the Open Systems Engineering team, including but not limited to server patching, documentation, troubleshooting, and execution of service requests. Requirements of this role Ability to perform intermediate-level support activities on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x and 6.x. Ability to work nights and weekends. Detail-oriented execution of tasks, including following technical directions Proactive communication of issues to peers and leadership Qualifications 3 to 5 years experience as a Linux System Administrator. Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems discipline (or equivalent work experience). Able to successfully contribute in cross-functional teams containing a mixture of technical and non-technical peers.
