*Job Title: Sr. Visual & UI Designer - VX Designer* *Location: Cambridge, MA* *Type of hire: 6+ months Contract * *Interview Mode: Telephonic or Skype* *Description*: US Citizen, Green Card, or EAD/GC required……. No H1's.. *Key Responsibilities* • Create elegant and useful interfaces that make an emotional connection with a broad consumer base. • Distill complex interactions into clear, understandable design solutions and clearly rationalize your strategic thinking to the team. • Create end-to-end design experiences, interaction models and design systems that define the companys experience across platforms (web and mobile).. • Communicate your ideas through sketches and mock-ups and storyboards, producing iterative designs for every surface. • Create dev-ready assets for your designs with clear implementation instructions (i.e. redlines and style guides). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design solutions for commerce driven projects. *Skills/Experience Requirements* • Contribute to discussions with cross-functional teams to incorporate design feedback appropriately. • Fluency in best practices for mobile and web-based design, as well as strong knowledge of information architecture. • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small groups to defend your designs. • Stay current with the latest design and technology trends across web, desktop, and mobile platforms, and adopt modern techniques as appropriate. • 6+ years of experience as an interactive designer, user interface designer, or a similar role. • Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Fireworks.
