Position : Sr.AS400 Consultant Location : Tampa, FL Duration : 8+ Months *Required Skills & Qualifications :* - Minimum 7-10 years verifiable iSeries/AS400 systems experience - Design (backend Schema, tables with normalization, SQL stored procedures) & complete database build. - Logical and physical data modeling and database design - Database creation, maintenance, and management - Metadata management - Database performance monitoring, tuning, and management - Indexing strategy and management - SQL code reviews - Database security and integrity - Database availability, backup and recovery - General systems management and networking skills - Handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks - Work under minimal supervision - React quickly and appropriately to high pressure / high impact situations and determine the best solution - Ability to learn new technologies quickly, then turn around to train other team members and subordinates. - Ability to take the lead, as appropriate - Maintain good customer support - Modernization experience / Remediation experience.
