*Role: Cognos Developer* *Location: Atlanta, GA.* *Job type: Contract* *Job description:* • Provide technical direction and readiness to serve (RTS) for the Cognos finance application for production, development, and test instances and coverage for all data loads, user access, network connections and all business cycles. • Coordinate with P&W, EM and O&G HQ FP&A Teams with the below functions and activities. • Administer and review the GEE, RRI & CDM systems. • Administration of Production and Development and QA servers. • Installing and configuring application software. • Server Migrations/Upgrades. • Coordinating with the Vendor for Application support. • Coordinating with other support teams eg.Server team, Web team, Citrix team etc. • Installing and configuring the application on Citrix and Web Servers. • Setting up the Recast System. • Quarterly System Health Review and Key Metrics. • Yearly DR Drill. • Quarterly SOX Audit Review. • SC maintenance and support. • Bi-Weekly COLA call. • SQL server installation, configuration and maintenance for CDM. • Coordinate with IDM team for the changes. • SCABBA Audit. • Coordinating with EDW team for the FDM extracts. • Cognos Finance users support. • Backup ( Prod & Recast ) / Restore backup when requested. • Cognos-Finance Application access management. • Resolving the User access related issues. • Setting up Excel addin on user machines. • Coordinating with Citrix team for user access . • IDM reconciliation. • Data clean up in Servers. • Citrix servers performance. • Coordinate with GAPC team for the monitoring. • Input forms and Reports updation. • Loading the GL data into Cognos. • CDM Client Installations. • COGNOS CDM IDM reconciliation. • Pre - Qtr. close activities like updating the scripts with new submissions and periods • ii) Repair and Compress submission Process. • EDW Extracts for prior periods. • Post - Qtr. close activities. • 24/7 support during Qtr. Close. • Updating the KT document.
