The candidate will work closely with IT project manager and IT teams across regions to perform technical analysis, design and implementation. Qualifications/competencies Extensive experience architecting and developing large-scale distributed J2EE applications. Extensive experience with UML modeling tools. Strong experience with enterprise Java development J2EE, JEE, JMS, etc. Experience with RESTful web services, SOAP, XML, JSON, JUnit, JMeter, Spring Framework, IntelliJ/Eclipse, Maven and design patterns as well as Agile software development methodology as well as with NoSQL databases is required. Knowledge of procedural and object oriented design, programming and testing techniques Ability to lead small teams of onshore and/or offshore developers & testers Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and technical coaching skills Strong work ethic with ability to work independently, prioritize & manage work to meet critical timelines in a fast-paced environment Operating system experience with Linux and Windows. Strong database experience including database design/normalization and stored procedure coding. Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss Application Server runtimes. Ability to communicate effectively with peers in technology and business areas to define requirements and to map those requirements into technology solutions. BS in computer science, MS preferred. Degree from a top-ranked computer science schools a plus. Should have a broad understanding of database technologies. Solid background in data analysis within complex software environments Capable of describing practical day-to-day analysis techniques used in order to achieve goals.
