*Position : Java / JSP Developer * *Location : Sacramento ,CA* *Duration : 12+ Months * *Interview : Phone then Face to Face* *Job Description* · The Software Develop – Java/JSP resources shall serve as the technical experts directly responsible for independently performing and coordinating the enhancement of online services. *The Contractors will perform the following services:* a. Develop new functionality in Java/JSP b. Enhance existing applications in Java/JSP c. Coordinate application changes with legacy systems utilizing EntireX d. Write and execute unit test scripts *Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience within the last seven (7) years: * - Minimum five (5) years experience with Java/JSP programming - Minimum of five (5) years experience applying Object Oriented Design principles and methodologies - Minimum of five (5) years experience with J2EE - Minimum of five (5) years experience with Apache Struts based framework - Minimum of five (5) years experience with internet security in a windows environment - Minimum of five (5) years formal testing experience - Minimum of five (5) years experience with full suite of Microsoft Office tools - Minimum of five (5) years experience working with both business and technical staff in a team environment *Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience within the last seven (7) years: * · Familiarity with multi-tiered web development environment. · Familiarity with large scale tax administration applications. · Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC methodology). · Familiarity with IEEE standard documentation. · Familiarity with large government data center services. · Familiarity with JBOSS. · Familiarity with Web Services. · Familiarity developing systems using Tamino databases. · Experience with Adobe LiveCycle. · Strong documentation and written communication skills. · Previous experience working with large State revenue collection agency.
