*Duration: 6+ months* *Contract to hire after 6 months* * NEED VISA COPY .* *Oracle is a plus* *SUMMARY: The successful candidate will provide high-level analysis, design, development and modification of custom software applications using Microsoft .NET framework and Visual Studio as well as an ORACLE back end. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* *· Work in an iterative, agile environment, with the ability to react to changing priorities.* *· Focus on the development and maintenance of n-tier Intranet/Internet and PC based applications.* *· Provide information, instruction and guidance to Application Users.* *· Performs fact finding and analysis for problem solving for business applications.* *· Provide technical and systems design expertise to assist in the development, implementation, review and upgrade of Microsoft.Net-based management and decision making systems.* *· Proactive in providing suggestions in regards to product development, new services and technologies or enhancements to existing systems/configurations which will assist the end user in improving overall service to our customers.* *· Provide on-going production support as needed.* *· Ensures that technical skills are kept up to date to provide most efficient support to end users.* *· Develop solutions using best practices and stream-lined architecture in order to maintain optimal system performance.* *· Reviews business requirements documentation and translates those requirements into unique, high quality solutions.* *· Understands the necessity of being able to support functionality in production and design as well as develop with this in mind.* *· Proactively learns and utilizes new technologies, concepts and procedures as appropriate to project requirements and application improvement.* *· Help improve the quality of the technical staff by providing leadership, guidance and encouraging teamwork and camaraderie.* *EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE:* *· BS in Computer Science or MIS * *· 5-10 years software development* *· Minimum 5 years of recent hands-on experience with the following tools and technologies:* *1. Microsoft .NET Framework, ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET> and ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET> MVC required.* *2. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or higher.* *3. Modern UI Technologies (HTML5, jQuery, etc) required.* *4. ORACLE and ORACLE Services* *5. Minimum 3 years of experience with agile software development process.* *6. Experience with Team Foundation Server.* *7.
