This person should have Business analyst experience in data-extensive projects (ideally Basel, CCAR projects, but any other regulatory project will also suffice). This person must have solid communication skills (verbal and written) along with financial domain knowledge, preferably in Capital Management for a Basel 3 remediation project. Requires knowledge of SQL, reporting tools, Visio and MS Excel. Experience with Advanced Excel, Modeling, Data Manipulation is required. A BS/BA (Finance/ Accounting is preferred). Management Accounting Experience is a plus. *Duties & Responsibilities: * Process Documentation to demonstrate the data flow of information into and out of Capital (Lineage) · End to End Process Mapping Lineage · Business Metadata · Technical Metadata *Data Controls* · Document Data Controls in place across the end to end data flow · Identify gaps in the current control based on the minimum required controls per the standards · Identify Control opportunities above and beyond the required controls · Close identified gaps in the Controls *Desktop Procedures and Policy* - Document how to support/maintain/perform lineage and control routines going forward Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to get a point across quickly and concisely is important Skill, Experience & General information Required: *Basic Technical Requirements* · Good Visio skills. · Advanced MS Excel experience · Exposure to compliance reporting *Desirable Skills* · MS Access · Forecast/Planning Experience · Project Management Experience · FASB/SEC Exposure *About Systel:* Systel is a professional services organization providing IT staff augmentation, IT product development and Business process outsourcing services.
