** *Position: Data Warehouse Data Modeler* *Location: Carlsbad, CA* *Duration: 12 months* *IMPORTANT:* ROLE: Data Warehouse Data Modeler *REQUIRED SKILLS:* · Fluent in both normalized and dimensional model disciplines and techniques · Minimum of 5 years' experience designing data model solutions for various transactional and/or analytical databases · Minimum of 5 years' experience in Oracle Database (10g or 11g). · Minimum of 4 years’ experience with MS SQL Database · Strong data analysis skills · Previous experience with data modeling tools, Erwin is preferred. · Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or information systems (or equivalent experience) · Extensive experience with ETL Design and implementation using Informatica PowerCenter · Effective oral and written communication skills · Modeling/design experience in a regulated and validated IT Transactional systems. · Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of multiple application areas · Self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, and detail oriented · Ability to follow and inform priorities and timelines · Ability to work independently and in conjunction with a team · Understanding of industry best practices pertaining to Quality Assurance concepts and procedures. · Data Modeling experience in Pharmaceutical, life science, and distribution is a plus *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Participate in requirements definition, analysis and the design of logical and physical data models · Map business requirements to logical and physical data models · Reverse engineer source system data structures · Collaborate with Data Architects for data model management and version control · Conduct data model reviews with project team members · Dimensional data modeling and physical database design · Capture technical metadata through data modeling tools · Generate, modify and version data object scripts (DDL) · Enforce & promote standards and best practices in data modeling efforts · Ensure data warehouse database designs efficiently support BI and end user requirements · Collaborate with ETL teams to create data landing and staging structures as well as source to target mapping documents · Collaborate with application and services teams to design databases and interfaces which fully meet business and technical requirements · Maintain expertise and proficiency in the various application areas · Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and standards Thanks &Regards Aditya *Unicom **Technologies Inc* Phone:309-740-1565 Fax: 866-291-2541 Email: adi...@unicomtec.com URL www.unicomtec.com Gtalk: unicomaditya -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
