*Position: Network Engineering/QA SME* *Location: Mount Laurel, NJ* *Duration: 6 Months+ * *Responsibilities:* · *Analyze overall solution design* · *Work closely with users & lead architects to capture expected requirements * · *Participate is design sessions* · *Test-planning and design* · *Lead as the technical POC within the QA team for all network oriented aspects involved in the application* *Requirements:* · *Excellent communication skills required* · *Knowledge of operational concepts of Cable/Telecommunications industry* · *Expertise in Metro Ethernet &Cell Back Haul networks* · *Metro Ethernet Provisioning - Configuration and troubleshooting of Metro-E customers and Cell Backhaul sites with different service - EDIA,ENS,EPL,EVPL.* · *IP/Port/VLAN/CVLAN assignment to Metro E Customers.* · *Alarm Management for Trunks, Optic Cards, T1/T3 circuits, SONET rings, SIP trunks, Session Border Controllers (SBCs), Session Routing Proxies (SRPs), and Media Gateways on Cisco, ALU, and Cedar Point devices.* · *Network Configuration- Cisco CLI, switch configuration, router configuration, Cisco IOS access list, Route redistribution/propagation.* · *Configuring Static Routes, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IBGP, EBGP, Frame Relay etc.* · *Configuring and terminating Cisco IOS/ Sonic Firewall’s, IPSec VPN, AAA. * · *Implementing QOS for traffic shaping.* · *Good knowledge of network circuit design and provisioning concepts preferred* · *Knowledge of network architecture is preferred.
