Sr. Dev Ops Systems Engineer - OmniChannel Infrastructure
Gap Inc. is working hard to transform the way we do business. Our team is
helping to build the next generation of our point of sale systems. We're
re-engineering our CI pipeline, building out tons of new micro services and
a bunch of awesome mobile applications. We need someone to help influence
the design of the application, and lead our infrastructure team as we
automate the provisioning and deployment processes of our applications,
enabling development teams to move at light speed.
You'll be part of the OmniChannel infrastructure team, and work closely
with a number of application teams to ensure that the applications are
designed to scale, ready for our operations team to take over 24/7 support,
and that we're enabling our application development teams to move as
quickly as possible. You'll automate application deployment and monitoring
with your deep knowledge of Chef, automate provisioning of virtual
infrastructure in our private clouds, and help the CI team to design the CI
pipeline to work as efficiently as possible with our infrastructure.
You will lead the infrastructure team as a mentor for the system engineers,
network engineers, and help the technical manager ensure that the team is
