*Position : Java Developer * *Location : NYC,NY or Conshohocken, PA (preferred) offices * *Duration : 6+ Months * *Interview : Phone / Skype * *Main skills* *Core Java* • *SAS* • *SQL* • *Clojure (Java)* • *JavaScript* · *D3* *Job Description* • The Java Developer (Consultant) is responsible for the design and development of Medidata product reports, and optimization of the use of Medidata reporting tools. *Job Responsibilities* • Participate in the design and development of data structures optimized for reporting and analysis • Design and Development of code used to extract data from source structures and prepare it for delivery to visualization, analytics and reporting tools • Design and Development of reports, analytics and visualizations using any and all tools supported in the Medidata environment • Participate in the ongoing refinement of report infrastructure based on lessons learned from report development process and or other team members • Participate in the development of Data Warehouse, Operational Datastore structures • Development and Deployment with ETL-based solutions for population of DW and ODS • Act as an active and engaged member of Agile software development teams *Job Requirement* • Intermediate Level *SQL programming skills* (competency exam is administered) • 2+ years Development/Testing tools – Eclipse/Netbeans IDE, JUnit, SaaS, Clojure, and Git • 2+ years of *JavaScript with D3 and JSON* • 2+ years RDBMS SQL or MS SQL Server transact-SQL experience • 2+ years Java/J2EE technologies • Experience designing, creating, optimizing, distributing and maintaining universes • RDBMS SQL experience mandatory. • Minimum of a four-year college degree in computer science, IS or related field • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Solid analytical and technical skills • Ability to clearly document implementation processes • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work *Preferred Qualifications:* • MS SQL Server/Transact-SQL a plus • Experience working with data from clinical data management systems, preferably Medidata Rave • Experience working with AWS • Experience working with Web Services • Beginner Level Experience developing reports with tools such as BusinessObjects, Crystal Reports, TIBCO Spotfire • Experience working in an agile environment *Regards* *Ranjeet Kumar* *Technical Recruiter* *VSG Business Solutions * *Phone No. 302-261-3207 Ext - 112* *Email :ranj...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com <ranj...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com>* *Hang Out :vsgranjeet* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
