*Kindly Reply on: lisa.d...@itbtalent.com <lisa.d...@itbtalent.com>* Client has an immediate need for a SYSTEM INTEGRATOR. This is a contract role based in Rhode Island or Arizona. The System Integrator (SI) is responsible for facilitating infrastructure delivery for IT projects based on design and engineering specifications. The role functions in an environment that is complex, both technically and organizationally. EXPERIENCE WITH BOTH WINDOWS and LINUX preferred The SI leverages technical, process, and organizational knowledge to provide functional teams with the information and artifacts needed to complete infrastructure deliverables, identify risks and avoid issues, as well as facilitate resolution when issues do arise. An SI will be assigned to multiple projects concurrently. They will interact with IT functional teams across multiple disciplines and business units in an environment with evolving processes to which they will need to adapt. Responsibility Facilitate the build and deployment of infrastructure for IT projects from design through turnover; deliverables include high-level project plans, translation of designs to build specifications, and workflow requests. Ensure project plans, documentation and implementation processes are followed. Facilitate cross-team troubleshooting. Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure timelines, risks, dependencies and milestones are being addressed and the necessary updates communicated. Contribute to the development of services, strategy, and policy. Maintain an awareness of external trends in technologies and service providers that relate to the company's goals. * REQUIRED SKILLS: * Familiarity with a variety of technologies: at least two server operating systems (Windows, Linux, AIX preferred), storage, networking, security, web/application/database software, virtualization, high availability, disaster recovery. Work experience with at least two technologies aside from operating systems is preferred. Previous operations experience in the Information Technology field, preferably in large-scale (500+ server, multi-site) environment. Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced and complex environment with competing stakeholders. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project. Experience with change management, risk management, and quality assurance methods. Ability to build strong working relationships with both customer and functional teams. Experience with cross-functional incident and/or problem management.
