This position will primarily work with Oracle Forms, Oracle PL/SQL and Crystal Reports, depending on specific skill set of other proposed consultants, may also work on J2EE applications. Qualifications The Consultant must meet or exceed the following qualification requirements: Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): 4+ years’ experience with Oracle Forms and PL/SQL 3+ years’ experience with classic Microsoft ASP (ASP 3.0) Knowledge of relational and object-oriented database designs. Knowledge of object-oriented design methodologies Knowledge of Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM). Knowledge of database security, including role-based security. Experience with database query tools (i.e., TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL Navigator) Ability to be creative, to use sound judgment, and to display foresight to identify potential problems and design/specifications and assigned application software systems. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. Ability to work independently. Ability to determine work priorities and ensure proper completion of work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs): 4+ years’ experience in Java Frameworks such as Struts/Tiles, Struts 2, Servlets/JSP, JPA/Hibernate 4+ years’ experience in XML, HTML and CSS Experience using Subversion and Maven 2 and/or 3 Experience with Agile development practices, specifically SCRUM and Kanban. Familiarity with environmental regulatory business processes and practices. Knowledge and understanding of DEP’s technical environment.
