Role: Windows Admin with Citrix and VMWare

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 6+ months



Job Description:

Key skills required for the job are:

   - Wintel (Mandatory)
   - Vmware Admin (Mandatory)
   - Citrix Admin
   - Windows and AD Admin


   1. Install Midrange Hardware at the Contractor Data Centers including
   Software object modules consisting of a predefined combination of base
   operating system, applicable fixes, selected security patches, tools, and
   agents
   2. Test paths to each server and ensure server is properly connected to
   the PNG Network
   3. Install Software to enable monitoring of Midrange Services and
   Hardware components
   4. Install Software to enable backup and restore Services on Midrange
   servers
   5. Install database Software (e.g. Oracle)
   6. Provide onsite server technical support and IMACD Services (install,
   move, add, change) support of servers at designated PNG sites, as required
   7. Provide remote support during standard Software build installation
   activities at remote sites, as needed
   8. Provide Hardware decommissioning procedures
   9. Decommission servers in accordance with PNG asset life cycle
   management process
   10. Proactively evaluate servers, identifying candidates for reduction,
   consolidation and virtualization

As a Lead Administrator, you should be able to act as a Single point of
contact for the technical tower in front of the customer management. Ensure
proper communication and quick resolution as a crisis manager. Responsible
for Vendor Management and people management. Drives day to day operations
and work plan allocation/management. Conduct periodic reviews with teams.
Weekly and monthly status reports to higher management. Participate in
business meetings with various stake holders. Take corrective actions based
on the customer satisfaction surveys. Drive service improvement programs.
Ensure adherence to quality / security standards defined for the engagement
Perform Trend analysis, identify top few incidents and work with respective
teams/individual to minimize the incidents. Effort estimation/reviews on
need basis for new projects.
