Job Title :ETL Tester Location: Roseland, NJ Duration: 6 months Responsibilities: Define ETL testing process and validate business rules and policies to data and transformations including all data pipelines on Hadoop Clusters, monitoring data activities in Kafka, Spark, etc Understand the data model and ETL flow Validate the data from the data sources through each step of the extract and transformation process including final load in the data warehouse Develop and review test plans and test scripts Ensure accurate data and reporting, in terms of content and infrastructure by researching and identifying source of errors Write SQL scripts to extract data from various databases and systems and compare against data warehouse Perform root cause and trend analysis to identify recurring patterns of error Ensure data standards/integrity are maintained in order to deliver the highest quality products Develop and automate integration, functional, and system test scripts Present the findings to project stakeholders Minimum Qualifications: Experience in large scale data warehouse projects Solid understanding of data architecture and ETL workflows Strong SQL analysis skills with experience writing simple to complex SQL queries Exposure to big data testing, Kafka and Spark streaming Knowledge in Java & Informatica preferable, but not required Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills Experience with working on Agile/Scrum method of product implementation and delivery ********************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Regards, Roy Smith | IT Recruiter ITBrainiac Inc, Princeton Forrestal Village116 Village Blvd, Suite 200 Princeton, NJ 08540 Tel # (609) 310 - 5298 Email: roy.sm...@itbtalent.com Website: www.itbrainiac.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
