*Sr. Java Developer with SAAS* *Dallas, TX* *Duration: 6+ Months project* *Job Description:* *1)As a Senior Java Developer you will contribute specialized technical knowledge in multiple application development & maintenance efforts. Principle responsibility is design and development of data driven applications. You will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.* *2)Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field plus 8-10 years experience developing n-tier applications or Masters degree plus 4 years experience* *Ideal candidate will have hands on experience in the following: Web application development using JAVA and opensource technologies, tools and APIs: Spring/Hibernate, Struts, JDBC, SQL, XML, ANT, Tomcat, HTML, JavaScript. Excellent understanding of OOP, Design Patterns. These are the minimum requirements; additional web technologies experience is always a plus.* *Web Services development experience, knowledge of Linux/UNIX, SQL is a huge plus.* *3)* *Excellent understanding of OOP, Design Patterns* *The Job:* Responsibilities include, but not limited to: The primary responsibility is to enhance and develop highly scalable SaaS based JAVA applications on Linux platform, applying sound object oriented principles and design patterns. Identify and recommend where new technologies may be incorporated Follow best practices of the industry for delivering high-quality software in a timely manner and to the specification Participate in design and code reviews.
