*Position: SQL DBA* *Duration: 6 month contract* *Location: St. Louis, MO* *Local to St. Louis, MO for in person interview* *Need USC, GC or EAD* *Required Skills:* - A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Database Administrator is required. *Responsibilities:* - Responsible for the administration, optimization, monitoring, tuning and backup/retrieval of SQL Server enterprise databases. - Additional responsibilities include creating and maintaining user access, space management, database refreshes, and database security. - Monitors database for potential problems and creates end-user reports. - May write and tune SQL or PL/SQL code. - May participate in data migration activities or work with application development teams to provide database access and knowledge. - Provides appropriate consulting, interfacing, and training for users. - Establishes and maintains policies, standard operating procedures, and associated documentation for user interaction with the database environment.
