Job Description:
The Web Developer collaborates with the Product Designer and other
related disciplines to create User Interface designs. They must collaborate
with other team members and various stakeholders to define customer
requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop
and present solutions. Responsibilities include: implementing user interface
designs from UI specifications and product requirements, translating
screenshots (images) into XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript with attention to
cross-browser compatibility and WCAG/Section 508 accessibility guidelines and
assisting software engineers with implementation of client-side code in a
multi-tiered environment.
Skills And Qualifications:
Years Skills/Experience
1. 1-3 years applicable experience
2. Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science or CIS
3. High level of proficiency with XHTML, JavaScript, DOM scripting, and
CSS layout
4. Experience integrating front-end code with one or more server-side
languages
5. Experience with .NET technologies and Adobe Flex 3 are a plus.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
7. Ability to work and communicate with business users, product and
project managers
8. Good written and verbal communication skills.
9. Commitment to quality deliverables; attention to detail.
