Responsibilities: Heavy Backend Java Development Experience Native JavaScript and understanding of building JavaScript modules (modularity) Experience with JavaScript framework experience such as jQuery, Experience and comfort with some sort of ORM framework (ORM = object relationship mapping or management) an example is Hibernate/Spring Experience working in a JBoss production environment Experience working with an Oracle Database as most java developers should have (this particular application is using Oracle 12) medium level of SQL querying experience Top Tasks Using SQL querying to pull data from tables for example sometimes the application. Working with BA’s and internal and external stake holders to take the BA requirements for this new module of the web app and know what is realistic to develop from the front end perspective and if it’s going to take too long, be able to tell the BA.
