*Python Developer,* *Syracuse, NY * *6 months* *Max rate of $50.00 per hour ctc.* o Our client, a growing stable company here in Syracuse, York is seeking an experienced Python Developer to help meet the growing demands of their internal and external clients. o In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing and updating all external websites, along with enhancing, maintaining and supporting the Intranet and mobile applications. o Collaborate with various departments to develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies. o Monitor performance of site and internet marketing initiatives. o Responsible for the design, layout, and coding of external websites that interface into our client's marketing programs for all of their business entities. o Responsible for the maintenance of the databases related to the websites. o Responsible for maintaining and supporting the Intranet web page designed for employee use. o Responsible for designing, developing, and executing marketing initiatives for mobile app, email blasts, promotional landing pages and banner ads. o Interface with various corporate departments and external vendors to co-develop web features. This will include both the graphic design and navigation pieces of the websites. o Responsible for troubleshooting the websites and identifying solutions to the problems. o Monitor internet performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining links. o Responsible for providing management with benchmarking and statistical information regarding usage, trends, and hits. o Responsible to insure that websites are developed and maintain both PCI and HIPAA compliance. o Maintain and administer all legal Internet domains owned by our client. o Responsible for supporting Commercial Business Development as needed o Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs. o Perform other duties assigned. o Required training (after being hired): o HIPPA Privacy Course o HIPPA Security Course o Strong knowledge of internet technologies and associated languages including: HTML, CSS, Python, mySQL, XML/SOAP, and JavaScript. o Knowledge of or previous experience with Revision Control Software such as Subversion or GIT o Knowledge of or previous experience with Content Management Systems such as WordPress and SilverStripe. o Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. o Basic knowledge of SEO principles and utilizing SEO tools such as Google Analytics. o Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly. *Experience required:* o Education: Minimum: 2 yr in Computer Science o Preferred: Bachelors or higher in Web Based Technologies o Previous experience developing and maintaining dynamic websites o Apply today for this great opportunity to apply your Python development skills to a variety of internal and external facing websites.
