· Salesforce has been implemented since 2011. Due to the number of
M&A that have occurred client currently has 5 instances of Salesforce
throughout the organizations for the different business units. There is
currently the manager and 2 contractors on the existing team supporting
Salesforce Administration. Client loves Salesforce Certifications and
experience w/ APEX and VisualForce are a huge PLUS.
· The Salesforce Administrator is the primary person responsible
ensuring that our implementation of Salesforce CRM is, and continues to be,
an effective tool for our global sales and marketing teams. As the global
point of contact for “everything Salesforce,” the Administrator has an
important role in keeping the tool working properly; helping set the
direction, and executing, on future improvement priorities; and working
with various teams to improve how we utilize our CRM information.
· Administer Salesforce.com, this includes, working within current
process, to maintain: users, roles, security, profile, workflow rules,
customization, report and dashboard development, data management, and
support for AppExchange applications. Provide Level 2 on-going support, and
act as the primary contact with Salesforce.com support. Assist with “train
the trainer” program, training people of the use of Salesforce.com. Manage
mass imports and exports of data as needed. Maintain current
customizations, including the assignment rules. Facilitate requirements
gathering and prioritization with business users for improvements. Work
with the business to make the tool more effective. This would include
customization of fields, page layouts, record types, reports and
dashboards. Develop and Design custom objects and code as needed. Be the
leader to support the goals of our organization, and how those goals are
supported by the Salesforce application.
· Excellent technical, business and people skills. Provide high
quality support via both telephone and email. Well organized. Flexibility
to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges. Solid
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to drive things to
completion. Use of Data migration tools for loading data into
Salesforce.com. Experience with assisting with data cleanup. Experience
with APEX programming language, VisualForce development, and report writing
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience in business or
technology. Salesforce.com Administrator and Advanced Administration
Certification preferred. Salesforce.com Developer Certification a plus. 5+
years Salesforce.com Administration. 3+ years development using APEX and
VisualForce. 2+ years working with business teams on data migration and
cleanup. 1+ years of project management. Administration of Sales Cloud,
Service Cloud, Communities and Knowledge base. Design, Development and
Implementation of Custom Objects in SFDC. Implementation of Triggers,
Workflows and Validation rules in SFDC. Supporting multiple SFDC instances.
· Recommended, justified and implemented at least one major SFDC
enhancement with business team. Established and maintained governance of
SFDC with Sales leadership. Communicated regularly with senior leadership.
Supported multiple teams including Marketing, Sales and Service. Working in
a small virtual team, but part of a larger IT. Trained Sales associates and
Management on SFDC. Demonstrating business value for SFDC improvements.
Working in a global environment, with stakeholders everywhere. Working in a
Continuous Improvement environment. Proven ability to work with challenging
