*Position : Data Analyst * *Location : Minneapolis, MN * *Duration: 6+ Months Interview : Phone then Face to Face* *Job Description * • Briefly describe the overall role of the job and why the job exists in the organization • Directs and provides analysis required to maintain, standardized and govern a Financial Dimensionally Modeled Data Mart (iMart), adhering to defined standards and development methodologies. • Recommends development process improvements, partners with development teams and business areas to capture data requirements, and integrates data at corporate level as needed. *Job Responsibilities* • Identify and document all current data warehouse components • Document and explain the type, structure and timing of the business data, ie: the data warehouse facts and dimensions • Develop and automate processes that involve error and reconciliation handling • Develop, standardize and automate processes for the manual upload of data to iMart • Develop controls and data integrity for the manual upload of data to iMart • Develop and automate control totals and tie out functionality between iMart and the General Ledger (SAP) • Map and trace data from BlueCore source systems to analyze the Revenue, Paid Claims, Claims Expense and Billing data elements • Work with the business areas to gather requirements for additional iMart functionality and data sources • Gather reporting requirements from business areas • Design and create data reports • Establish system documentation and business process flows • Work with Highmark SMEs on future functionality *Job Requirement* • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related topic, and 5 years of related experience; or 9 years of data analysis experience in lieu of a degree • At least five years of data warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) experience • Strong data modeling skills (normalized and denormalized structures) • Strong data quality and data governance skills • Strong SQL programming skills • Strong Extract and Transformation and Load skills (ETL) Preferred Qualifications • Basic understanding of Accounting concepts • Experience with Cognos Report Studio preferred Regards , Kailash Negi VSG Business Solutions Phone : 302-261-3207 x 102 Email : kail...@vsgbusinesssolutions.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
