*Java/JSF/RAD/XSLT Developer *

*Location: Des Moines, IA*

*Duration: Till this year end *

*Project Description:*

Client provides a secure transactional self-service web site for individuals
that have one or more of Client’s retail products or participates in any of
Client’s employer sponsored plans. Specifically for Client’s retirement
products Client provides the *RIS (Retirement and Investor Services)
Participant Site*. (“Participant Site”). The RIS Participant Web Site was
introduced several years ago and was developed using *XSL style sheets and
XSLT processing.* The web serves as a front-end to our proprietary record
keeping system. A data access framework was built to support the web that
pulled all of the account information together from our back-end systems.
While that *framework of XSLT* and aggregated data access has served Client
well, it is not always the most effective way to get just the required data
for a specific page. Also, Client is looking to move to a more industry
current *JSF architecture* for our main landing pages. So as Client
incorporates new navigation elements to Client’s web site, Client is seeking
a re-write the key landing pages to the *JSF environment.*

*Skills Required:*

• The Java Development consultants will be skilled and experienced in
developing in a *Java Server Faces (JSF) environment*, and will assist in
creating a framework intended to simplify the integration of the *RIS
Participant website* to the back end legacy system(s).

• The Java Development resources will also have familiarity with
Application Developer (RAD), WebSphere, and ClearCase.*

• The Java Development consultants will assist in evaluating the rules
and logic in the *XSLT and re-apply that logic to the new JSF environment.*

*Thank you and have a great day,*
