We need you to write beautiful, fast PHP to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products in meaningful ways. You will be a part of a creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing and launching. Responsibilities: Write “clean and readable”, well designed code. Produce detailed specifications. Test, test, test… Have good understanding of the Drupal way but not limited to this way. Follow industry best coding practices. Proficient with OOP. Be able to work as a team member. Requirements: Proven software development experience in PHP. Experienced in the optimization and fine tuning existing Drupal code is required Strong programming experience in Drupal, PHP is required. Should be skilled in various aspects of web development using PHP, and Drupal 7. 7-10 + years of relevant experience in web application development and experience with enterprise scale Drupal development is required. Work with REST services. Understanding of Drupal architecture. Know caching (varnish, memcache, etc…) Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Javascript, AJAX etc... Experience with GIT, Drush, MySQL and Apache. Experience with Vagrant and SOLR is a plus. Should have good understanding and experience with the Drupal API. Strong experience building and supporting Drupal integrations with external systems is huge plus Experience in Agile Software Development methodology is a plus Should have experience performing Drupal module development and customization such as templates and themes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Be able to do peer reviews of code. Understanding JAVA is a plus. Knowledge of Angular.js is a plus. Experience with JQuery and SQL demonstrating vast LAMP architecture experience is a plus. Experience developing System Architecture and Design documents is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in presentation solutions is preferred Any experience migrating website using Drupal is a plus. Any experience working with databases such as Oracle, MYSQL, SQL Server is a huge plus. Ensure that delivered solutions meet technical and functional requirements. Troubleshoot performance issues and fine tune applications and environments.
