*Client is seeking a Peoplesoft HRIS Consultant who has exp working w/ 9.2.*

*Also, this position will be for 9+ months w/ the possibility of extension.*

*Purpose of the Position*: Coordinate with all functional areas within HR
to assure that technology related needs have been adequately addressed.
Coordinate with IT for development, interfacing, database, and networking

*Essential Functions*:  (List all basic responsibilities related to the
purpose of the position)

Design, develop, implement, maintain and update HR systems/programs/reports
to optimize the system value.

Research and document HR processes which have been identified as needing
evaluation and recommend automated solutions to improve efficiency.

Support data integrity reviews, testing of system changes, report writing
and analyzing data flow for process improvement opportunities.

Lead HRIS related control items by working with IT, HR, Benefits and
Payroll clients on requirements, development and testing.

Support various processes such as Benefit Administration, Retro-Pay,
Retro-Ben, and Absence Management processes.

Support all related tables (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, etc.)

Support internal HRIS Specialist in liaison function for all internal
customers’ requests, including writing queries to retrieve data for
Accounting, Benefits, Compensation, Team Relations and the Management Team.

Assist with the creation of materials and conduct training for End Users.

Support and troubleshoot Benefits and Payroll processing issues as needed.

Support daily/weekly processes, transactions, mass changes, data entry, ad
hoc reports, etc. as needed.

Apply a continuous improvement approach to all work processes.

*QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met
in order to qualify for position.*

*Education*:   Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related area or
the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

*Experience*: Minimum of 5 years PeopleSoft HRIS Administration experience
(version 9.2 or greater required) with 1 year of project lead experience

*Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc*.:

Strong PeopleSoft query and reporting experience

Working knowledge of core HR tables including creation and management

Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word and Excel (advanced Excel
skills preferred)

Prior experience as a functional member with mid to large scale HR
technology projects for system upgrades, enhancements, and working on cross
functional project team

Excellent communication (written and verbal), planning, organization, and
administrative skills with an ability to communicate ideas in both
technical and user-friendly language.

Ability to listen to client needs and formulate an overall analysis and
project plan

Ability to define and solve practical problems and create accurate,
validated reporting for business decision making

Able to prioritize and execute tasks in time-sensitive situations with a
keen attention to detail

Self-started with exceptional ability to identify and solve problems

Progressive, flexible and team oriented approach desired

Possess a proactive approach with strong customer service orientation

Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws

Demonstrates uncompromising level of integrity and code of ethics and
maintain a high degree of confidentiality
