The Testing Lead provides strategic project management on the Financials
Project, one of the most visible and complex IT initiatives and projects
being undertaken in the organization.  The core

of the project is the transition from a legacy, on premise software
application to a cloud-based, multi-tenant SaaS.  The Testing Lead is
responsible for all testing activities, including the

development, planning, and execution of a program-level testing strategy,
and works directly with the project team, business leaders and staff to
provide coordination of services, metrics

regarding testing, and project deliverables and milestones.  As such, the
successful candidate must have demonstrated substantial project management
and communications skills, and most

importantly, demonstrated the ability to develop and lead a collaborative
team responsible for the quality management activities of all work streams
under the Financials Project umbrella.  The

Testing Lead functions with full authority for the execution and delivery
of strategic program objectives and deliverables; providing recommendations
on scope, schedule, resources, budget and

risks as related to the quality management aspects of the project.  The
Testing Lead will implement a plan that balances the benefit of thorough
testing with the costs associated with the task,

and will incorporate the various tests required for a successful
multi-tenant ERP implementation, including but not limited to basic unit
tests, system-integrated tests, end-to-end business

process validation, authorization and authentication tests, performance
tests, and user acceptance tests.  The Testing Lead will assist in
developing the ongoing release management and testing

strategy for the cloud-based, multi-tenant SaaS ERP application, and
therefore must understand industry-best practices for managing such

Additional Information
Experience of formal project leadership with various project lifecycle
methodologies (waterfall, agile, iterative, etc.). Minimum of seven (7+)
years’ experience in a role where responsible for

quality management activities of specific technologies, specialties and/or
disciplines.  Possess project management skills with the ability to
multitask and manage multiple large sized IT projects

and strategic initiatives. Experience in previous IT management role
leading the implementation or quality management activities for significant
ERP projects. Ability to communicate effectively

and professionally with employees, peers, executive leadership, customers,
vendors, technical team members and others. Demonstrated expertise of
building consensus across diverse business

groups and leaders, and influencing successful outcomes. Strategic thinking
with ability to combine broad business, technical and political factors,
while ensuring the quality of agreed-upon

deliverables.  Deep understanding of program and project management across
multiple industries. Consistent exercise of judgment and discretion in
matters of significance. Budget management

experience. Possess expert knowledge in schedule management. Possesses
expert knowledge in various vertical industries and conveys knowledge to
others. Pursues excellence in all aspects of
