*Must Be Local Or Near ByFace To Face Interview Required* *Responsibilities:*Design, implementation, and operation of all compute, virtualization, OS, and primary infrastructure services. Be a subject matter expert on infrastructure team and serve as a trusted resource for information technology department and managed service provider. Provide detailed white papers, high and low level solution designs, proposals, proof of concepts and long term planning in a number of infrastructure domains; compute, operating systems, virtualiztion, backup and disaster recovery Work with lead Infrastructure Architect and Enterprise Architecture to ensure solution design is delivered in alignment with EA vision, strategy and business requirements Global license management for VMWare, Microsoft, and SUSE Linux. License tracking and inventory in addition to frequent internal license audits. Point of contact for all external license and install base audits and collaborated with third party auditors. Initiated and negotiated enterprise license agreements with VMware, SUSE, and Microsoft. Co-termed where possible, achieve deeper discounts, procure additional licenses and products for growth as needed. Worked to negotiate and allowing for flexibility during the contract periods. Lead successful strategic initiatives in virtualization produce a high guest to host ratio, and reduction in hypervisor licensing costs. Modernize and maintain DR capabilities, from planning and design to physical execution. Guarantee of integrity of data recovery and ensuring scalability of DR infrastructure to meet rapid server growth. Technical governance of service provider responsible for specific areas of technology, including: operating systems, hypervisors, hardware. Review and approval of all maintenance requests, service requests, change requests Review of incidents and root cause analysis Technical risk identification, management and mitigation *Skills Required:* Must be proficient with VMware, Linux, VCE (V Block) with working knowledge of EMC storage and Cisco Networking.
