1. Minimum 8+ years of AS400 hardware and software experience. 2. In-depth IBM AS400 hardware and operating system knowledge at an architect level. 3. Experience working with hospital IT environments. 4. In-depth IBM AS400 performance analysis and capacity planning. 5. Experience with HMC, PTF/software upgrades, hardware upgrades and replacements, tape libraries, native OS400 tools. Top 3-5 “Nice to Have” Competencies/Skills: 1. Strong MS Office skill. 2. Previous MedHost (HMS) software experience. 3. Additional IBM experience using and deploying high availability/disaster recovery software. 4. Previous experience with SAN technology for the AS400. 5.
