*Job Title: UX Designer* *Location: Redmond WA* *Type of hire: 6+ months Contract * *Interview Mode: Telephonic and Skype/F2F* We are looking for a talented UX designer with strong interaction and visual design skills to help us shape admin scenarios and experiences. You are forward-thinking, passionate about improving our users experience, *on top of current UX trends*, and excited about exploring new possibilities and opportunities. You can quickly bring new ideas to life from low-fidelity sketching to high-fidelity comps. You are able to take big picture ideas and help translate them to ownable concepts with your design and storytelling skills. · Work closely with partner teams to help identify and define key scenarios and opportunity areas. · Help facilitate design brainstorming and collaboration sessions. · Effectively bring ideas to life with *storyboards, sketches, interaction flows and other artifacts* required to communicate and evolve key concepts. · Work closely with user researchers to gain user insights, identify opportunities, validate concepts, and socialize ideas across the team. · Effectively communicate, defend, and build consensus around concepts and direction. · Proactively seek out design and technology trends, and stay on top of current interaction design paradigms and best practices. · Work in partnership with other teams and disciplines to help evangelize and unify the admin and support *UX vision* Qualifications: · 5+ years of work related experience required. · You must have strong *interaction and visual design skills* with high-level of proficiency with common design tools *(Illustrator, Photoshop*, etc.) · Ability to *illustrate and prototype concepts* quickly to help sell the vision to product stakeholders. · Experience in producing scenarios, process flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, and other artifacts required to communicate key design concepts. · Understanding of experience designing for the mobile. · Strong interest in and aptitude for learning new technologies and design skills. · Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills. · Strong *communication and project management skills* are required as is the ability to self-motivate. You must have the ability to understand technology issues and communicate information effectively. · Understand the technical constraints, user goals and business requirements that shape current and future products. · Portfolio review required. Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Industrial Design or related area required.
