Position: SharePoint Developer

Duration: 4months contract to hire

 Arlington VA

GC/Citizen only

*Responsibilities:*

   - Develop custom and complex sites for the client and their customer
   - Present data in SharePoint sites through APIs and other means of
   presenting data from source systems
   - Customer-focused SharePoint portal support with face-to-face
   interaction for services in Microsoft SharePoint 2010 administration
   - Provide day-to-day premium customer support to SharePoint portal end
   users for services needed to fulfill operating changes, new tasks and
   incidents
   - Provide troubleshooting to incidents received from the SharePoint
   community that will resolve issues related to functional sites and site
   collections
   - Provide operations, maintenance, and development activities when
   scheduled
   - Must be proactive in the identification of poorly designed/developed
   aspects of SharePoint portals and have the ability to quickly provide and
   implement solutions
   - Conduct requirements gathering sessions with working groups and
   individuals to capture business requirements for site changes and new
   requests
   - Provide solutions using "out of the box" features
   - Provide support for user profiles and MySites
   - Set up knowledge management site for SharePoint resources
   - Provide user support for search and indexing
   - Modify style sheets when requested
   - Assist in the design, build, deploy, and administer workflows (basic
   and approval) utilizing SharePoint Designer 2010
   - Customize workflow task and process behaviors through the use of
   workflow editors
   - Utilize the Microsoft InfoPath tool set to build custom forms to be
   utilized with SharePoint sites
   - Assist in the building, customization and management of customer Web
   Parts as needed
   - Promote the usability of SharePoint services utilizing the Client
   Object Model and Content Editor Web Part (CEWP)
   - Provide support to workspaces and the synchronization to Microsoft
   SharePoint Server when needed
   - Assist with the management of group and user accounts when needed
   - Assist the agency in the use of SharePoint as a collaboration tool and
   document repository
   - Produce reports for metrics received for the chief information
   officers's (CIO’s) service catalog
   - Provide hands on training to customers in posting of data and setup of
   sites
   - Conduct monthly SharePoint brown bag sessions
   - Build SharePoint master pages, layouts, and themes when requested as
   part of new projects

*Required Qualifications:*

   - Five (5) years' experience with SharePoint Designer 2007 and 2010,
   SharePoint Administration, SharePoint Web Services, .NET, JavaScript, HTML,
   CSS
   - Five (5) years' experience with Visual Studio 2010 or higher
   - Five (5) years' experience building deployable WSP solutions
   - Three (3) years' experience working with Microsoft SQL server and
   InfoPath
   - Two (2) years' experience with using SharePoint APIs or SPServices and
   JQuery or other similar JavaScript frameworks
   - Experience in data integration with external systems is a MAJOR plus
   - Experience with project management methodologies and IT lifecycle
   methodologies
   - Experience working with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel,
   PowerPoint, Visio
